It's Getting SPOOKY Up In Here

I have never been that much of a fan of Halloween, but over the last few years I have had so much fun that could be because I have worn inappropriate costumes and no one could say anything because it Halloween right? This year I decided I am decorating my house for Halloween and I am going all out! The twist is, I am only going use items purchased at the 99cents Store and Dollar Tree two of my favorite places It is so interesting to me that people will spend $10.00 on a pumpkin purchased from a high end store when they can get the same thing at the discount store for $1.00!!! I have had friends tell me they go to the Dollar Tree or the 99cents Store and they cant find anything, or everything looks cheap...excuses me...no way, and I am going to show you just how great items from the Dollar Tree and 99cent Store can look when staged correctly. Here is My loot:

You will have to check back to see just how great these items look placed around my house. I promised Kyle I would not start putting the Halloween decorations out till October 1st, if he let me start my decoration for Christmas November 1st oh how I love compromise...not. He thinks I am crazy, but he just does not know how much work it is putting everything out and making it all " fancy shmanzy". By the time its up, its time to take it down, after all that work I want to enjoy it so I say put them up a month early LOL!

Rudolf The Red Nosed Reindeer...

...Not quite, but close. I found these antlers on craiglist and had to have them. After going back and forth trying to get the price down this lady was a tough one she just would not budge I could not resit it anymore I had to give in. I got these bad boys for $150 I talked her down $50 bucks she wanted $200 Turns out they are Elk antlers and her uncle buck really that is his name was the one that caught the Elk this was his first hunting trip and his first kill. I know it sounds so bad, but I did not kill the Elk, and I cant help it that I fell in love with these 5ft antlers...don't judge me...I am only human, you would want them to if you saw how great they look over my fireplace.
See aren't they just the shinning glory to the fireplace.

Dryer

I have naturally curly hair, and thanks to my wonderful hairdresser Vickie http://www.curlsontop.com/ she has really helped me to love and embrace my curls with Deva Curl products, and her great cuts and color. Every time I go to her salon I love sitting under the dryer to dry my hair. I have always hated wet hair on my back, so caused the search for a hair dryer. I had bought this table top hair dryer that sits on your counter and you sit under it, but in did not seem to dry my hair enough it would dry the crown of my head, but the rest of my head stayed damp. I am a craigslist junky, but my fiance I just got engaged that story to come:) is an ebay gooroo, and because he loves me oh so much he helped me find her, and by her I mean my GAMA!!!!

This is how she came to us, and we both looked at each other and were like WHAT...she is a giant! she did not look that big on the computer....But now that we, and when I say we, I mean Kyle has put her up....I just love her, and so do my curls!
She hangs on the wall so beautifully, I am going to turn this corner of my bathroom into my mini salon.

What A Find & It's All Mine!

I am addicted to craigslist, and I found this post for a hide skin rug. The poster had said that it had a few tears in it and she was selling it for $15.00. I called her up and asked her how big the tears were, and as she stood on the other end of the phone, examining the rug and talking to herself she said "they are larger then I thought, I cant sale this for $15, if you want it you can have it for $5...UMMM.... Hello... I'll be right over to pick it up...it was crazy I am usually the one doing the haggling and wheeling and dealing, but NOOO, this lady did it all on her own for me...I love it! I picked up the rug, and for $5 bucks, need I say more...
