Blog Under Construction

When I first started blogging I had no idea what I was doing, and I have now been blogging for a few months, and still have no idea what I am doing, but one thing I do know is that I have been inspired. I am going to create a new blog, one that I am proud of, and am going to be committed too. With that said until I have my blog right, just the way I want it, I am not going to blog anymore on this one. I am going to be working hard to get my new blog up soon, but since, like I mentioned, I have no clue still what I am doing it may take some time. Once my new blog is ready I will be blasting it out to all of you, in hopes that you will all enjoy it as much as I will. See you soon!!!!

What did you say?

Do you ever come across something so profound that you just can not get it out of your mind??? My mom had sent me a website to check out, she said she had found my dream job, although it would have been a dream job the applications were due October 27, 2010... just a wee bit late mother...it's okay I forgive you :) Anyway while browsing the site I cam across this quote by Logan Pearsall Smith..."Style is a magic wand, and turns everything to gold it touches." I LOVE IT! this is going to be my inspiration for the whole year I want to be a style wand, turning everything I touch to gold!

It Was A Merry Christmas Eve

I can not believe how fast Christmas came and went this year! It was so wonderful having everyone over at our house Christmas Eve.
Getting my table ready.
I used wrapping paper for my table cloth, it is so hard to find a table cloth to fit our large table. The wrapping paper was a great alternative for so many reasons...easy clean up, super cheap at $1 a roll (I used 4 rolls total for both tables)
The finishing touches
Good people, good food, good times!

This year my Fiance and I started our own tradition. Each year we are going to buy an ornament for one another, and every year we will set out our own tree with all our special ornaments to one another. I made my ornament for Kyle the front are stick figures of us with a heart and the letters K+E I know my camera is poop:(
The back says 2010
Kyle had an ornament made for me and I just love it!!!
I know it is hard to make out because my camera stinks but it is a wedding ring and it says Kyle and Elisse 2010 on the front, and on the back it says We're Engaged! I was so spoiled by Kyle this Christmas, and he made out too, lucky for him I am a shopaholic so I just kept buying and buying for him, but he deserves it. I loved everything he got me, and was so surprised. I love opening gifts
My beautiful Christmas loot...designer shoes, 2 crystal bling phone cases leopard and zebra print. Thanks babe!

I am one of the crazy people that hits up the stores for all the after Christmas sales, and this year was fantastic. I bought a few things at 50% but I bought a ton of things at 75% Oh how I love to save!!! I think I have hit every Ross, Marshalls, Target & Wal-Mart in the Inland Empire. I just cant help myself the prices are just to good to pass up!

As you can see I have been busy hehehe :)

L-O-V-E

Normally I keep my Blog to a minimum when it comes to my personal life, but today I am feeling like sharing. A few weeks ago I told my Fiance I wanted to do a Christmas picture, but not just any Christmas picture, I wanted to replicate something I had seen in a magazine, but make it more our own. Kyle (my Fiance) saw the picture and said okay....really????  I did not get any complaining, or grumbling, or anything. He knew that I was excited to do this picture for our Christmas cards, and therefor he went with it. After friends and family received are card in the mail they all loved it, and then I posted it on my FB page and got so many comments on it, but I was surprised to see how many people were shocked that Kyle would go along with it. I had people say "my husband would never do that, or your so lucky you can get your fiance to do that, and the comments went on and on. It was then that I smiled to myself and was filled with so much love and joy knowing that the man who I will soon be married to, is so wonderful! I am truly Blessed!

Holidays

I love the Holidays, but it seems like it is going by way to fast. This past weekend we put up our outside Christmas lights, we ended up blowing a fuse, which is always fun, but lucky for me my Honey is a handy man and fixed it right up. We made a last minute decision to host Christmas Eve at our house this year...should be a fun time.
The Outside
The Outside Courtyard
We also had Kyle's work Christmas Party this weekend. The best part about it for me, was the food, and Kyle's job receiving project of the YEAR! Whoohooo you go Babe!

Christmas Time Is Here

Finally!!! the inside of my house is decorated, and our monstrous 20ft tree is up and done. Man! did we learn how to be creative with this tree, we will be better prepared for next year. The tree comes in pieces and each branch is put on one by one, then we had to hang the lights on it, but by the time we got to that part non of our ladders would reach, and the ornaments...forget about it, it was so hard we ended up using one of those things people use to pick up trash on the side of the freeway...I am not sure what they are called, but you know what I'm taking about...right? Thank goodness we had one of them because it sure did come in handy. This weekend we are going to finish the out side decorations...I need a break...it will be Christmas by the time we are done hence why I wanted to put up all the decorations on the first of November...you don't think I am crazy now do ya, and then we will be taking it all down. I may just leave my decorations up till next year! Enjoy
I added ribbon to my couch pillows so they look like a present, just used a safety pin in the back so my pillow stays in tact!
I love my office tree it is full of shoes and purses with feathers and all, and the tree is a funky modern tree with a typewriter base. This was my last years discount find from Homegoods for only $4 buckaroos!
I am going to take the rest of this week to enjoy all our hard work have to include the hunny buns he was a big help then is is off to concur the outside. I'll post pictures once we are done, hopefully it only takes us one day not one week!
